Blox League Controls & Camera Settings
On keyboard and mouse, launch footage reports right mouse button for boost. Controllers also worked for the players in the videos below. Test your own input layout in Training before joining a match.
The inputs the launch footage supports
| Action or setup | Reported result | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Boost on keyboard / mouse | Right mouse button | Small Spinale, around 00:44 |
| Controller | A connected controller works in gameplay | Small Spinale around 01:10; Maniibo around 00:35 |
| Practice without a match | Training (reported free-practice context) | Small Spinale, around 00:25 |
| Camera setup | Settings includes camera options; Camera Shake can be turned off | Maniibo, around 01:09–01:16 |
These are creator reports from the launch build, read on October 1, 2026. They are useful starting points; they are not a complete official keybind chart. The creators also used jump, handbrake and camera changes, but the available captions do not name every corresponding key or button.
Run a control check in Free Play
Start with the current settings
Open the game's Settings menu. Inspect any current control labels, then enter Training / Free Play. Keep the ball nearby so a movement input has an obvious result.
Test movement before boost
Drive forward, steer both ways, slow down and reverse using the inputs shown by your current layout. If the car moves unexpectedly, fix that input before adding speed.
Try one short boost
With keyboard and mouse, try the reported right-mouse input while driving straight. Watch whether the car accelerates and whether the boost display changes. If it does not respond, check the current controls, available boost and whether the game window has focus.
Separate jump from turning
Test jump from the ground, land, then try the turn again. Changing several inputs at once makes it hard to tell which action caused a bad touch.
Make one controlled ball touch
Line up behind the ball and drive toward its center. Repeat after any input change so you can compare the result against the same simple task.
Make the ball easier to follow
Maniibo recommends disabling Camera Shake in his launch settings segment. That is a player preference, rather than an official competitive preset. It is a sensible first change if camera motion makes a touch difficult to read.
After that, change one camera option at a time. Drive toward the ball, make a touch and recover; keep the change only if you can still see where the ball and your car are going. The sources do not establish a universal set of camera-distance, height, angle or sensitivity numbers for Blox League.
A Rocket League preset can be a personal starting experiment, but its physics and input behavior have not been measured as identical here. TragicJbro's footage describes the ball and touches as feeling different.
Controller and mobile questions
Can I use a controller?
Both Small Spinale and Maniibo report working controller input. Connect the controller before you queue, then test steering, boost, jump and camera changes in Free Play. The videos do not establish an exact Xbox or PlayStation button map for every layout.
What are the mobile controls?
A complete touch-control layout was not established by the sources reviewed for this guide. If Roblox offers Play on your device, inspect the controls displayed in the current game and run the same short movement-and-boost test. This guide does not claim verified mobile support.
Why did a control stop responding?
First give the game window focus, inspect the current binding and test in Free Play. For boost, also check the available boost display. These checks distinguish an input problem from a match situation; they are troubleshooting steps, not a claim that every failure has the same cause.
